I have worked with activists, politicians, nonprofit leaders, creatives, and academics to help them tell the personal stories behind human rights and equality movements. With strategic frameworks, engaging production, and compelling creative, I have designed experiences that provide global audiences with new perspectives on pressing social issues.
As the event director and programming lead for the flagship 2019 Oslo Freedom Forum, I oversaw every element of forum production, from stage design and talk development to event partnerships and media outreach.
We wanted to energize the event’s presence in Oslo and its stage programming, so my team collaborated with pro-bono musicians, animators, illustrators, and performers to develop unique visuals and scores for activist talks.
The 2019 event also introduced unique program tracks on tech, policy, and creative dissidence.
The result was an intimate and interest-based learning environment for the journalists, activists, business leaders, and students in attendance.
